Fantastic Team helping pets and their people

A friend of mine, Cindy Thompson, is involved with a 501c3 group called Favor's Project. Favor's Project is a super cool organization started to collect pet food and good, used pet supplies for rescues, shelters and companions of homeless persons.

In my discussions with Cindy, I learned that many homeless people are bonded with their dogs and cats and won't even seek shelter in severe conditions if they can't take their "family".

As Made by De, I've donated lots of dog coats for the pups that need them. Denver can be a VERY cold place in the winter.

Favor's Project is teaming up with two groups; one called For the Love of Paws in Denver, Colorado, a foster-based rescue, and another called Sox Place, a center for at risk or homeless youth, also of Denver, Colorado. These groups are putting together a Preventative Care Clinic for the dogs and cats of Sox Place.  They could really use some help.

For the Love of Paws, Sox Place and Favor's Project have teamed up to get assistance for the pets of these youth in need. Many of these youngsters do not have the resources to take care of the pets that may be the only family they have.

This clinic will offer vaccines, flea and tick prevention and dewormer with the help of veterinarian Dr. Jeff Baier, as well as a dog wash.  The event will be September 11,2015 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 2017 Lawrence Street in Denver.
